Terms
1. Who we are
Quay Studio is owned by Marcel Molenda (sole proprietor), Am Ziegeleipark 15, 65830 Kriftel, Germany, hello.quaystudio@gmail.com. These terms apply to every order.
2. What you get
- Deck makeover ($99 / £79 / 79 €): redesign of up to 10 slides from your content, delivered as an editable PowerPoint file and a PDF within 24 hours.
- Landing page ($199 / £159 / 149 €): one responsive page built from your text and images, with a preview link, the files as a ZIP and a short setup guide, within 48 hours.
- CV (39 €, Germany only): redesign of your CV, one to two pages, as PDF and Word file, within 24 hours.
We agree on the exact scope by email before you pay. Not included unless agreed: writing new copy, paid stock photos or fonts, domains and hosting. The free sample is free of charge and creates no obligation on either side.
3. Timing
Delivery times start once we have your payment and all your material.
4. Price and payment
Prices are fixed and final. We don't charge VAT (small business under § 19 UStG, Germany). You pay by PayPal as Goods and Services: fixed-price packages upfront; larger custom projects 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. You receive the payment details with our order confirmation.
5. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included. We quote further changes before making them.
6. Money back
If the first draft doesn't convince you, tell us within 7 days of receiving it and we refund the full price. You then may not use that draft.
7. Rights
Once you have paid in full, you may use the final work without limits: exclusively, for any purpose, in any medium. Legally, we grant you an exclusive, unlimited and transferable licence, because German law doesn't allow copyright itself to be transferred. Your own material stays yours. Fonts and images keep their own licences; we only use ones you are allowed to use. Parts created with AI tools may not be protected by copyright in every country.
8. AI and responsibility
Quay Studio is owned by Marcel Molenda, who is responsible for every delivery. An AI assistant (Kai) does most of the work and checks every file against a fixed quality checklist. If something isn't right, we fix it or you get your money back. Your material is processed with AI tools only for your project; see our privacy policy.
9. Confidentiality
We use your material only for your project and don't pass it on. We won't show your work publicly unless you agree in writing.
10. Your part
Please check the final content, such as figures, names and legal statements, before you use it. You confirm that you may give us the material you send.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage that was typical and foreseeable when the contract was made.
12. Law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
